This is a live account, not a brochure

Meet Alex. Alex is made up, but Alex's watch is real: it lives inside our system, gets checked every day, and is rendered below by the same code that serves paying customers. The mortgage: £200,000 owing at 5.5%, a fix ending in two years, an early repayment charge of 3% stepping down to 2%.

2 · The decision pack

On a real watch this stays locked until six months before your fix ends. Alex's is unlocked early so you can see the actual page: where you stand, what doing nothing costs, the options side by side against live market rates, and a one-page memo to hand a broker.

3 · The AI checklist, included with the watch

Every watch comes with 1,000 AI credits a month for tools like this one — a pre-signing checklist built from Alex's own numbers. Try it; it's the real feature, spending from Alex's real credit pool.

included with your watch

A checklist built from your own numbers: things to verify against your paperwork and questions to ask your lender or adviser. It lists things to check. It never tells you what to choose.

4 · The emails, and why each one matters

The watch sends nothing on a schedule and nothing promotional. Each email exists because a date arrived, and carries that morning's recomputed figures.

  • 26 Jul 2027 — Your annual overpayment allowance (£20,000) resets todayA fresh year of penalty-free overpaying begins. Anything you didn't use the year before doesn't roll over.
  • 27 Jul 2027 — Your early repayment charge drops from 3% to 2% todayThe penalty for leaving early just got smaller, so the leave-or-stay sums change overnight. This is the email people wish they had received.
  • 26 Jan 2028 — From today you can usually lock a new deal that starts when this fix endsFrom this day most lenders let you secure a new deal that starts when the fix ends. Whether you can still switch if rates fall before then — and any cost to do so — varies by lender, so check yours.

  • 26 Jul 2028 — Your fixed deal ends today — without a new deal you move to your lender's SVRDo nothing past this date and the mortgage moves to the lender's standard variable rate, usually several hundred pounds a month more.
  • any day — the leave-or-stay answer changes directionRates moved enough that the cheapest path flipped. This one has no date in advance, which is exactly why a person cannot watch for it.

5 · Yours to run, once it's your own

On your own watch, this is also where you name the mortgage, set a £ threshold worth an email, add or correct your balance with a stamped history, add someone else's figures for a what-if, subscribe to the dates as a calendar feed, and stop the watch yourself at any time — no email, no waiting. We've left those controls off Alex's page since it's shared by everyone trying the demo, but every one of them is a plain button on your own file, not a support ticket.
